Dosage
For use with DOGS during tick season: 1 drop per lb of body weight once daily to keep ticks away (or) twice daily if spirochetes are present.
1/4 teaspoon is equal to 40 drops or 1.2 ml. When the 2 oz bottle dropper is as full as it gets (approx 1/4 " from the top) that is 60 drops. When the 4 oz bottle dropper is as full as it gets (approx 1/2" from the top) that is 80 drops.
For use with HORSES during tick season to keep ticks away: 120 drops once daily 900-1200 lbs (or) twice daily if spirochetes are present.
Lyme is caused by a particular kind of bacterium know as a spirochete. Spirochetes have been around for billions of years; longer than humans and are very smart. The word spirochete literally means “coiled hair.” The spirochete that causes Lyme disease is the genus Borrelia burgdorferi.
Spirochetes resemble a corkscrew shaped worm which is exactly what their action is, in order to enter into living tissues. This allows them to colonize in collagen around the joints, the eyes, and the brain for example. They’re particular about what they eat as they are collagen feeders.
During a tick bite, the saliva inhibits TH1 immune response. Spirochetes take advantage of this to colonize in the tissues.
Anti-spirochetal, crosses the blood brain barrier (the blood brain barrier is a bio-protective structure that protects the central nervous system, brain and spinal cord, from being compromised). If your dog or horse has tested positive for Lyme, we recommend using the Bor-l-Immune as dosed on label, but twice daily for 45 days then retest.
